10' x 20' frame for tech shelter

We need a 10' x 20' (or something close to that size) free standing frame to attach solar fabric to for a shelter for the scales in the impound area of the paddock at HPR. This is a popular size shelter size that racers use for shade next to their trailers. I am thinking that someone out there has o...

The board voted to add the SF class for the 2017 season as suggested by Chris and Jim. For 2017 the SF class will not be assigned divisional points and thus there will not be a class champion for the initial year. The board will revisit the decision at the end of the season. Please help get the word...

Peter,

There is a rumor (unsubstantiated) currently circulating that a FF turned a sub 1:50 lap at HPR this winter on the new Nokian Hakkapelitta R2. Chris wants to set the FF lap record at HPR before he retires from racing.

Reported to be based on the R60 compound this bias ply tire may be something to consider in the next spec tire discussion. I am certain the the RMVR guys will test this for us.

Thanks Chris, I am looking forward to revisiting the tyre discussion next winter. Who knows, maybe the price of rubber will tank just like oil. In response to Boysen's post I assume that we will still honor our gentleman's agreement with the RMVR that any of the vintage FFs are welcome to run with u...

Everyone, We are fast approaching Chris' cutoff date of before Dec 22, 2015 for the CF rules change vote. Not everyone has declared their vote on each proposed rule change and some were not clear on anything. I have attempted to compile the clear yes and no votes here: Proposal to add Hoosiers to th...

Well, I was hoping to ride rising tide of excitement over the acceptance of the Hoosier tyre for CF. As Bob correctly pointed out I would do just about anything to lower my lap times a few tenths at HPR. So the promise of 2 whole seconds for only $50 per tyre is almost beyond my imagination! However...

Chris,

You have a contact at Hoosier - what does he say about the supply of the R60s now that the FF1600 pro series and the FF class has gone to the radial tire? Will Hoosier continue to make the R60 or are they planning on letting it die after this year?
