Covid 19 update from Glenn

Post by Jim Stinehelfer »

We here at HPR are trying to keep track of everything that is going on. We are getting a lot of inquiries regarding our plans, and the simple answer is that "we don't know", mainly because so much of what is going in is out of our control. While we have no current plans to close or significantly modify our operations, obviously we cannot predict what will happen as this situation develops.

There are currently no orders carrying the weight of law that mandate that we close. Given that our operation is primarily open air and doesn't require close interaction with other participants we feel that staying open doesn't pose an unreasonable risk to our customers or our employees, so we will continue to operate as long as we are legally allowed to do so and as long as we feel that doing so doesn't pose an unreasonable risk.

While we do hope that people who have had so many of their other activity options restricted will continue to come to HPR as an outlet for their need to get out and do anything (besides stare at the walls or binge Netflix), we also hope that people will abide by the recommendations put out by the authorities, especially regarding the recommendation to stay home if you are feeling symptoms or have been in contact with those who have.

So, I apologize that our answer is such a non-answer but all I can say is that we will continue to be open until we aren't. If we decide to close, or are forced to close, we will let everyone know as soon as possible.
